Background

e-NABLE is a volunteer organization dedicated to helping people get mechanically actuated prosthetic limbs through open-source prosthetics and decentralized manufacturing. I helped to establish the chapter in Flagstaff in addition to my job and coursework. I used client measurements to custom fit the prosthetic before 3D printing it out to assemble and ship to the client. Aside from working on prosthetics, I assisted new members in learning how to work with the products and 3D printers. Additionally, I assisted with administrative work for the club, such as maintaining a budget, planning fundraisers, and recruitment. Most notably, I presented to the Flagstaff Medical Center to create a partnership to refer anyone who would want a prosthetic device.
